Many children are faced with the knowledge that when school ends, so do the free and reduced price breakfasts and lunches they receive during the school year. The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana’s Summer Feeding program provides free, nutritious food to children at selected sites throughout Northwest Louisiana. The program is operated with support from the Department of Agriculture’s SFSP program and Share Our Strength.
