View new video that highlights the amazing work the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana has provided to the community through the support of the community and volunteers.  Since March 2020 and the beginning of the pandemic, the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana has provided more service to Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, Bienville, Red River and DeSoto Parishes than ever before in the history of the organization.  We are so grateful for our team, Board of Directors, donors, supporters, volunteers and everyone that has been on our journey to fight hunger.  ​View Video Here
Highlights from March through December 2020:
Pounds of Food Distributed:  
Over 14,234,668 pounds of food was distributed in Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, Red River and DeSoto Parishes between March – December 2020 for COVID relief, a 42% increase over the previous year.
 449 Mobile Distributions:
Locations: Blanchard, Benton, Bossier Parish Community College, Cotton Valley, Coushatta, Greenwood, Haynesville, Homer, Ida, Keithville, Mansfield, Mooringsport, Plain Dealing, Ringgold, Serepta, Shreveport, Springhill, Shongaloo and Vivian.
 8,500 volunteer hours given to the Food Bank of NWLA:

• Assisted with local and rural Mobile Pantry Distributions
• Sorted and Packed Food Boxes
• Delivered Children’s Meals and Emergency Boxes
• Made Outreach Phone Calls

57,355 Children’s Meals were distributed to children at 27 sites in northwest Louisiana at the following locations:
