 VOLUNTEER AT THE FOOD BANK
We could not do what we do without the help of our wonderful volunteers! Volunteers work in the sorting rooms helping us pack senior boxes and sort food items.

Volunteers opportunities are available at the Food Bank of NWLA at 285 Mt. Zion Road, Shreveport.  Some weekends are also available. Groups are encouraged to call ahead to set up your volunteer day(s) and time(s).

Please call  Gene Haynes, 675-2400 ext. 115 or email ghaynes@foodbanknla.org for more information on volunteering.

Our Volunteer Handbook has helpful information and can answer most questions you may have.

 OTHER WAYS TO HELP
The Food Bank provides more food for our community when essential professional services and products are donated.  We have an on-going need for vehicle and fork lift services, minor plumbing and electrical work and lawn maintenance.   Please call us at (318) 675-2400.  Every donation, large or small, is appreciated.
