Shreve Memorial Library Taking Donations in Place of Overdue Fines - 12-10-2013

Shreve Memorial Library is hosting "Food for Thought- Amnesty Days" now through December 31, 2013. Library patrons with overdue fines may donate a non-perishable food item for each overdue item returned and fines will be forgiven. The non-perishable food items will be donated to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.

By offering fine forgiveness, it's an opportunity to show goodwill toward our customers and help the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana help people. Food Bank officials say the needs in the community are great. Any donations are welcomed.
