The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana is gearing up for its annual Empty Bowls fundraiser by hosting a Community Bowl Painting Party. The Community Bowl Painting Party will take place on Thursday, April 10th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the old Liz Claiborne location (near Fuddruckers and Regal Cinema) at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.
Supplies provided, artists needed. Bring the whole family for food and fun! For a $5 donation or with the purchase of a ticket to the Empty Bowls Event, guests of all ages can paint a ceramic bowl that will be used during the Event set for June 5th at Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport.
The annual Empty Bowls Event is a Hunger Awareness Fundraising Event and is the Food Bank’s main fundraiser of the year. The bowls serve to remind attendees of all the empty bowls in our community that do not get filled. Empty Bowls Luncheon and Evening Event tickets will be available at the Community Bowl Painting Party and at the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
